I'm on the fence with resale or direct at this point.
Direct seems to work faster and not waiting for refusal which might happen if too low of a cost. Disney will kick it back. Hate that waiting game!

I was in your exact position and found the incentives better than resale. The princess was magical and worth every penny! I recommend it highly if you’re on the fence

I was looking into direct purchase again, I have one direct and one resale.
There is a promotion for direct purchase now - a representative told me, he's off for a few days so I dont know what it is.
He said that me waiting till Monday will be beneficial etc. He asked if I had any future reservations or an idea of dates for my future reservations.

Does anyone know what the incentives are or might be? any thoughts?

Hiya it seems that if I have a reservation already - I can get back some incentive money .... I'm trying to recall what it is off the top of my head, I have it written down, but I'm on the couch watching the hurricane lmao!! *also had surgery Monday last week, so I have limited mobility to keep getting up and down*

Sounds like the Welcome Home incentive which is $1,500 for current members at select resorts. The current incentives are set to expire 9/11. If you want any of them it may be a good idea to get the contracts within the 10 day period you can rescind a direct sale (9/3 or later). If the incentives are better come 9/12 you can cancel and rewrite the contracts or if they get worse you can keep your better offer. You can also completely change your mind as long as it's within the 10 days!

Stay safe with the storm and good luck to you in your recovery! My mom had a total knee replacement in the spring and is finally back to herself. I understand how hard limited mobility can be.
