Currently in AK Jambo and housekeeping has been coming in every day to make our beds, take out trash and switching towels. I thought they only did this every fourth night? Has this changed?

Edit: Kidani not Jambo

Are you in Club Level? If so, you do get daily housekeeping.

DVC???? I haven't had DVC make a bed in forever. We usually aren't in one resort for 8 nights.

Is the fifth floor club level? I was upgraded without asking but they never mentioned it being club, so I have access to the club lounge too?

Club level is 6th floor. Not sure why you got housekeeping, maybe the housekeeper thought you were a cash guest.

Other than trash disposal, you should not be getting any service daily, and there has been no mention by DVC of any change to that policy.

We just returned home from our 9 day stay in a GV at Kidani. We never had any kind of service to our room. On day 5 we called to at least have fresh towels dropped off. There was never any replenishment of toiletries. There was no pack n’ play or high chair in our room, no dvd/blue ray and the kitchen had the worst pans ever to try to cook in. The room is beautiful, but needs refurbishment, for sure.

And you paid for housekeeping with your dues. Just wondering how many DVC reservations get shafted like this. It is paid for by the members, but not followed up with the service? Win-win for Disney.

They removed the pack and play and high chairs during Covid. Now you just need to call.

With a 9 night reservation, you should have gotten full cleaning on day 4 and trash and towel on day 8. I’m surprised when you called to get towels and mentioned it, it still wasn’t done.

Id definitely follow up with membership satisfaction let them know you didn’t get the services.

Sounds to me they had the room confused with a cash reservation. That has happened to us a few times, usually at Beach Club.

Dumb housekeeping question here...I know DVC bookings get full cleaning on day 4 and trash/towel on day 8. If my booking at VGF is from 3/23-3/31, is that considered 8 days? So I would get a full cleaning on day 4 which would be on 3/27, or am I short one day? I'm struggling with "calendar math" as a DVC newbie. :P

3/23-3/31 is considered 9 days. Count your check-in day (3/23) as day 1. So day 4 is 3/26, and day 8 is 3/30.
