DVC Holiday ornament trade

What year did the MMM start? Was it 2004 or 2005?

I have DVC ornaments from 2005 07 08 09 and 10

Missing 2006. If anyone is interested in trading, I have extra 2007&2005 ornaments to trade for 2006

Btw, I just noticed that the 2010 ornament s the only 1 stamped made in China. Makes me wonder where they were made before.

I saw the 2010 ornaments going for $18 on EBay!

By the looks of my signature, we were there in 2006, but somehow we missed the mixer that year.

So now I just need to confirm there was no mixer in 2004?

There was definitely a Merry Mixer in 2004. I remember because that was the year I bought DVC, and the ink was barely dry on my contract when my guide told me that I could go to the Mixer with my temporary membership card.

I'm not sure if they gave out ornaments that year. I don't recall seeing a 2004 ornament when I put up my tree this year.

There was one year (I think the first year) where the item was not an ornament, but a key chain.

That's right!! We did attend the first MMM because I still have the key chain on a set of spare keys. I remember it came in the red velvet bag, just like the ornaments. I may have to hang it on the tree as the 2004 ornament

I still dont know what happened in 2006. I think we missed the mixer by a couple of days of arrival.

What's your favorite of all the ornaments? Mine is 2008. Love all the Mickey Heads

Do any of you have a pic of that 2004 DVC keychain that was given at the '04 merry member mixer? I have all the ornaments from each year but I'm missing that keychain. I don't even know what it looks like. lol.
And P.S. my favorite of the ornaments is the 2011 Rocky Pony one. It reminds me of Saratoga Springs.
