DVC Hilton Head bike storage?

First visit to HH coming up this summer. May bring our bikes. Is there a place to store personal bikes or just outside bike racks at the property? Trying to figure out how to best manage that process. Thanks in advance!

There are outside racks and a few racks under the main building which is also the covered parking area. Bring the bikes it is a great place for them. If not you can reserve rentals from a number of third party rental companies. They deliver and pick up. Tell them what building you are in and they will be locked on the racks closest to where you are staying.

lock up your bike my was taken from under the main building .we think it was one of the bike rental company that drop off there bikes .Don't know for sure

I thought there were bike racks near most buildings. And yes, lock up your bike.

As we are getting closer to our trip, on a follow up to this, are there bike racks at the Beach house too? Plan is to bike to beach on days we go there. Definitely will have bike locks with us. Also, if we are biking to restaurants like Ela's on the Water or for excursions out of Shelter Cove, any bike racks there? Or is is not advisable to bike to those locations? Looks like it could be done but hard to know. (Or biking to Pirate Mini Golf down the road? First time to Disney HH so not sure but really want to pack our bikes!) Thanks in advance!

Yes bike racks in garage at beach house. biking at hhi Is excellent. Can’t imagine not having bikes. Dvc rents them as well as many rental companies if you don’t bring them.

I am pretty sure there was a place to lock bikes at the Pirate Mini Golf too!

Edited to add: Btw, if you don't bring your own bikes, the DVC bikes were really nice when we visited two years ago. Just fyi.

Can anyone tell me the cost of renting bikes @ HHI? We are going in September, but flying, so we can't bring our own.

you can call to get current rates. It used to be about $15-20/day, but a lot less if you rented for entire stay (maybe $50?). We rented at DVC because if there's any issue, you just swap out for a new bike. Biking at HHI is excellent.
