DVC Grocery Shopping Service - questions

We are arriving late on a Wednesday night. If we order groceries ahead of time, will they be delivered to our room, even if we haven't checked in yet?

If you order through the resort, they'll probably hold the groceries unti lafter you check-in and get a room number.

If you use a shopping service, like GardenGrocer or WeGoShop, your groceries can be left with bell services, who can bring them to your room at your convenience, but not unless you are there.

Our flight doesn't land until 10:30 PM - so we probably won't be to the hotel until 11:30.

Well, you have two options. Have gardengrocer deliver them as late as possible to bell sevices on the day you arrive OR first thing in the morning the day after.

However, I'd check with MS regarding delivery to your room. I remember reading other posters commenting about their groceries being delivered to their room when they weren't there. I'm not sure if that's just the groceries purchased through Disney or outside agencies though. But it's worth checking out.

I've always called wegoshop after checking in. You have to authorize Disney to put them on your account. So I believe that you would have to prepay before you got there to have them waiting for you. But check with Marge, she will advise you on the best option. She's very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
