Dvc golf

My husband is taking advantage again of the annual golf membershp offered to to people who own dvc. We had done this before when we stayed at the Boardwalk, the arrange a taxi to pick you up and take you to the course.

My question is.... we are staying at OKW this summer.... does he have to take his clubs to the Hospitality House, or will the complimentary taxi/voucher pick us up at our room. If he had to drive his clubs to the HH area, I can't see where the perk would be for the free taxi, he might as well just drive right to the course?

Can someone help me with this who has done it??

Have made at least a 3 dozen trips over the years.... the taxi service is the same as if you were paying.... they will pick you up at your room

From my experience, not so at SSR and OKW. We have been told several times that it is just to and from the bell stand at the check in location. The voucher has to be picked up at the bell stand anyhow. We have had mixed success on the return trip with convincing the drivers to drop us at our building.

In the numerous times we have golfed, we have always had to meet the taxi at Bell Services. It really wasn't a big deal. We just walked and carried our clubs down (no need for a car) or I believe you could call Bell Services for a ride if carrying is a problem.

If you are playing multiple rounds your clubs can be stored and transferred between courses without a charge.

There is no charge for the taxi ride. The taxi voucher includes the taxi and driver tip. I'm not sure if the funds come from the golf courses or the resort, all I know is that I don't have to pay for the ride!
