DVC Golf Discount Question?

OK. Here's my question and hopefully someone can help. We're going to be playing golf in July while staying at BW. I have purchased the DVC Golf pass before. It's $50, and you save 25% off rates before 10AM and 40% after 10AM. But the fine print says, non discounted rates, so when I check the rates, they are 89 before 10 ($67 per round). At 10AM they drop to $59, so is the 40% off the $59 or the $89 because the $59 is called the "summer price slice". The $89 regular rate minus 40% would be $53.40, so the savings would be minimal. I think that I probably shouldn't bother with the DVC pass, but can anyone clarify?

The $59 summer slice rate is a discounted rate, so the 40% is off the $89 rate. But with that being said, I just played several weeks ago and paid $50 plus tax, total was $53.25 for each round using the DVC member discount, I don't know how they arrived at $50 but that's what it was and I didn't question it.

This discount you are referring to...is that the card? Or is this just a discount they gave you? We also have annual passes too.

It was using my DVC golf membership.
If you plan on playing before 10am it will be a little cheaper using your AP, 30% vs 25%.
