DVC Gold annual pass

I know it’s not offered right now. But I see in the past DVC could get real good deal on gold pass like a Florida resident. Would a dvc member also have the ability to make monthly payments on it like a Florida resident? Just curious.

Unfortunately, no. That is only the Florida Resident pass.

Thank you. Also quick question. Think of booking 2 studios to take some friends. Can I do that on the site at same time or have to call? And if for some reason they back out can I cancel res and get points back? Thanks.

You can book both rooms online, but you have to do it one at a time. If they cancel, you do get the points back, but if it’s less than 30 days, the points go into holding and using them is restricted.

Not quite accurate. If you let it lapse during the closure, or took the refund, you might be able to purchase a new one by calling and asking. Also if you have AP and you have a child who has turned 3 and now needs a ticket, you should be able to purchase an AP for that child only.

thanks. So if I book 2 studios. Do I just book both in my name. Or should I put one in my wife’s name. Cause not sure yet who were taking with us. Also once decide can we change name on second room to them or have to do all that and have all guests names before book. Sorry if confusing.

While some have booked both in their own name, I didn’t chance it and booked the second room in my wife’s name, changing it later. While it’s easy to change subsequent guests on a reservation, you need to call in or chat with MS to change the name of the primary guest, not a big deal, but it may involve a long hold on the phone.

One other thing to think about is that if you’re booking during a popular time, rooms can go fast. You’ll want to book at 8 am when reservations open up and at your 11 month window. When I booked 2 rooms for last December, I was able to get the rooms, but I got the last one available. Out of curiosity, I tried for a 3rd room and none were available. You might try booking a stay for the day before you want and modify it when the last day of your stay opens.
