While at HH last week, we saw a beautiful DVC license plate on the front of a van. We looked and looked at the shops at HH, BCV, VWL and BW for it with no luck. My guess is this is a discontinued item?

We did buy a Beach Club license plate to put on the front of our van (it is our home resort); but I still liked the DVC one better.

Do they have a 'catalog' of DVC items? There didn't seem to be much at the shops.

Also, who else has a DVC license plate on their car?

I knew that DH was finally really 'hooked' on DVC when he wanted that license plate. Buying into DVC was really more my idea, but he is hooked, he is really hooked now! ;)

DVC sent us a license plate awhile ago. Unfortunately NJ requires actual plates to be on both ends of the vehicle. DW has said we should take it with us-we drive- and put it on the van when we get into Florida. I'm tempted to do this, but I just know I'll forget to take it back off and be reminded of my error by a State Trooper five minutes into Jersey.

Have had mine for quite awhile but it didn't work on the mini-van. It is now on our RAV4 and I have actually gotten many comments on it. I love it.

I have a DVC liscence plate on the front of my car. It's a stiff plastic, not metal. I bought mine through e**y. Don't remember the exact cost, but with shipping and all, I know it was still less than $10, about $7, I think. I just bought it a few months ago. We were at HH a few weeks ago, but unfortunately in a rental car, not a van, so I don't know if it's exactly the style you want-the blue/purple mountains with yellow mickey head.

We have 2 DVC plates. I bought a metal one from ebay still in the plastic wrapper. The next week our guide sent us a plastic one. We are not allowed to have them on the vehicles near a state plate. They are both in a drawer here.

We've had ours on our vehicles since our first stay at OKW back in 1992 - we have the original one with 3 mountains and the one that replaced it along with the plastic ones that members received in the mail. I have seen them on the auction sites as well.

Our DS has been collecting Disney license plates for years, so he has the original plate with the 3 mountains, as well as the one that followed when the resort changed to OKW. They're hung all around his room.

When they sent us the plastic one, I took out my little hammer and put it up on my kitchen soffit. (We can't have them on our cars in NY.)

Call your guide. When we bought a few months ago my husband asked our guide if we could have the license plate instead of the backpack. He said they didn't have them any more but he would look around.A couple of weeks later one showed up at our house!

We got our plastic plate in the mail after we bought VWL in 2001. We love the plate but for "political" reasons do not use it in our hometown. Some people just do not understand about DVC. When we drive to Disney World, however, we have a little ritual where we stop at the rest area on I-75 just south of Ocala and install the DVC plate on the front of our car. We like the plate and feel that it helps us to be recognized when we drive into our home resort ("welcome home") and also when we drive to another resort for supper.
