dvc free stuff

has anyone taken the dvc tour lately
didn't they used to give free lunch and disney dollars or food vouchers or something
just wondering if any one has taken the tour lately and what they were offered
would like to take the tour and perks would be great

No more perks are offered. I believe they stopped that a couple of years ago. When we took the tour in Summer 2001, all we got was free cotton candy.

I've taken the tour twice. Last year when we went, we were given lunch vouchers. When we took the tour again on 12/26, we were given 4 VIP Fast Passes for our family of 4. I think it was just something they were doing over the Holidays.

We took the tour last summer, and I told the associate I would take it if he offered free lunch at MGM. So, he informed me they were giving the Fast passes, but could easily offer the vouchers for different restaurants for Lunch/dinner. He said it was up to us, and most persons get what they request (within reason). If you want vouchers for the kids, they must accompany you to the tour (we toured BWV) but can play while you visit. Very easy...very worthwhile!

Just make sure you remind them to give you whatever it is they promise you. I was promised free Fastpasses for taking the tour (she even wrote it on the "invitation"), but forgot and left after. Well, I called my guide after we bought, reminding him that he still owed us the promised Fastpasses and gave him the dates of our first trip home (Big Hint!). All he said was "Oh, yeah"-never got any fast passes. You know, that may be a reason for maybe asking for a different guide when we do an add-on. Am I perhaps being too petty? It just bothers me to be promised something for taking a sales tour, then not get it.

we toured and purchased in april 2002 and recieved lunch at beaches and cream, it was yummy
