Hi folks! I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm helping a family of 6 plan a Disney trip. I was told that all the DVC resorts in WDW can accommodate 6 people. How does one go about booking if you're not DVC owners? Is it easy to book? Thanks for any info.

Yes, you can book DVC properties for "cash" just like you would any other Disney resort. I believe they are categorized as "deluxe villas" for online booking on the Disney website.

Not 100% sure, but I don't think the studio units can sleep 6, unless one of them is an infant. But there are larger units available.

That family would need a two bedroom villa which sleeps eight or nine depending on the location. One bedrooms sleep four or five depending on the location. Since they are six, they need to two bedroom villa.

Have them check the Disney website and they should be able to find DVC villas for their trip (as long as it is less than seven months out).

You can also take a look at the rent-trade board (read the stickies first to get an idea of how it works) to see if renting points for a DVC 2-BR would work for your friends...it could be significantly less expensive, but there are trade-off's, so do read the stickies!)...

Good luck
