DVC Florida resident?

So now that I own a real estate interest at DVC, can I claim I'm a Florida resident (and take advangtage of all of their lovely discounts?)

Based on some of DVC members posts, it seems many members are spending just as much time enjoying Florida and their DVC home, than their"normal" home...

Nope! Right there in our contracts it says that DVC ownership does not qualify us as Florida residents. It would be nice tho, wouldn't it?

As noted, no you can't. You do not meet the criteria for being a FL resident plus you do not meet Disney's criteria for giving a Resident Discount (actually two separate issues).
