DVC Fantasy Land Preview?

We got invite and will be at WDW on points...but not sure how to book, there is a phone # but it says for use after the first day of booking but not sure how to book on Oct 15? I will be in a car traveling on that day at that time... would appreciate more information from them...:confused3

Too bad we will be there the 8th -17th. Oh well. Of course I have my e-mail voucher for my annual pass but cannot sign up because I am not active. I guess I will see it in April (my next trip).

Per DVCNews.com: for DVC Members, you call the toll free number on 10/15 beginning at noon eastern to attempt to reserve a preview spot for the member and up to three guests. After 10/15, you can call DVC Member Services to see if there are any open spots. If you want to go, your best option is to call the toll free number at noon on 10/15 as it will most likely fill up.

Staying DVC on your points?
The only reasons I ask are because there is no announcement on the DVC website, and the wording in the email:

"As a Member of our Disney Vacation Club family joining us at Walt Disney World® Resort during this special time"

So I wonder if they only sent it to members staying on points. If you are staying on points, then well I don't know. I assume you get DVC emails without problems?

Yes, staying on points. I get some emails from DVC, don't really know if I receive all that they send out. Apparently not, in this case, lol.

We arrive on 11/7....:(

I emailed DVC a while back after I heard there was going to be a AP preview. They told me yes we will get one too, keep watching. Well it's so funny because I never got this Email telling me there will be a DVC preview. You would think since I sent them an email originally I would have gotten one. :confused3 It isn't the dates we are going to be in Disney though.

We received the email (DVC one) and will be there at that time but are bringing extended family..there are 10 of us total, with each member able to bring up to (3) guests (myself and my DH) we will be short TWO:sad1:

You can sign up with the voucher on AP site

They didn't give me a voucher. I just have the e-mail ticket #. I called and they wouldn't give me one. Ugh!

Ok thank you, I did not think it was very clear.. we never got the email about the AP sign up so this was good.. I don't care but DGD will be with us so she might like that. :cheer2:

Does anyone know for sure if they are counting babies under a year old as one of the 4 you can sign up?

Does anyone know if an associate member can sign up?

Doubt it. DVC Member ID needs to be presented upon arrival. Associates do not have Member ID cards.

If member is also present, the Associate could be one of the three guests allowed.

I didn't think so....even though I have 2 ID cards (both with my name) and 3 associate members....we'll be holding our own family lottery!

So we are just supposed to call Member Services at noon tomorrow to try to register for one of the time slots? We didn't receive an email so I want to make sure I know what to do! Thanks!! :)

Is everyone planning on picking option 1, option 1 when calling? We want member services, not another department, right?

You don't call MS today, you call a different number. See this article at DVCNews.com:
