DVC disneyland discounts..

So my husband and I and sure we want to buy, but having a hard time picking the best time to buy..

We have an upcoming trip to DL(staying with my mom)
Are there any discounts on tickets or food for DL if your a DVC member?

Nearly all dining will give a 10% discount to DVC members. There is a $20 discount on either DLR Deluxe or Premium Annual Passports.

Only discounts on Annual passes. None on tickets. And the AP discounts are only for people on the contracts and their immediate family members that live with them.

Not many discounts at DL unfortunately. The annual pass discount really needs to be increased.

As a VGC owner the DL discounts absolutely stink. Very bad and need to be improved.

You get 10% off almost all merchandise and food, which is better than WDW.

10% on food is on both counter service and table service! And also in non-Disney restaurants like Earl of Sandwich.
Just a few notable exceptions (like Napa Rose), but Carthay Circle is included (and recommended, I've eaten there 4 days ago and it was superb!).

Yes this is on our todo list! Any character dinning discounts?..

Is its little discounts, but I guess they can add up..

WDW still has better, but 10% is better than nothing

The DL food discounts we get are the same as the Deluxe Annual Passholders... That's a decent deal.... But clearly, they haven't really negotiated a great DVC AP deal... One hopes someday they will work out a deal like FL where we essentially pay the FL resident price.

Be careful what you ask for ... the SoCal resident tickets, both APs and standard tickets, carry LOTS of blackout dates. If they offer DVC owners the SoCal-equivalent pass rates, as they similarly mirror in FL, we might get the passes with blackouts.

That said, I'm currently carrying a SoCal AP. No Saturday, summer or holiday visits for me!
