I am really upset that I just placed an order for over $100 and didn't know we could have used a 20% off code as we don't have our vacation magic yet. UGH

Hi I didn't get my Vacation Magic today either and I called Member Services today and they gave me a code but when I enter in the cart they say they don't recognize it. Has anyone used the code yet? Also if you PM me I can give you the code they gave me to see if it matches what you have. I was told I could not post here. Thank you. Can anyone tell me about the 20% off deal for DVC members on disneyshopping.com?

I seem to remember it started 1 Dec but now cannot find any info. I thought it was on DVCmember.com but the previous 10% off offer is listed on there.

For those interested, I was able to use the 20% DVC member Discount at DisneyShopping.com today and still qualify for free shipping.

If you pay with a Disney Visa and spend $50 or more you earn 5-times Disney Reward Dollars.
0% financing thru June 15, 2006 for orders of $150 or more.

I know that you've resolved your issue with the code, but please do not give the code (or any DVC code) to people who PM you to see if your code matches theirs. Anyone registered on this board can PM you, whether they are a DVC member or not.

Like Chuck S. said in an earlier posting, "If you have not yet received your copy, you may call Member Services for the code."

It frustrates me know that people are trying to get information that is meant solely for the use of those of us who are paying for the benefits of ownership in DVC and are willing to take advantage of people who are well-meaning.

Excludes Shipping and Handling Charges, gift cards, animation art, Walt Disney Classics Collection, Disney Electonics, DVDs, videos, CDs & cassettes, video games, CD-Roms, books, sing-a-longs, read-a-alongs,pre-sales, gift boxes, and items not in stock.

Sounds like it is limited pretty much to clothing and housewares.

I forgot to mention even though you purchase an electronics as long as it totals $75 or more you do get free shipping until it expires, sorry i am not sure when it expires, i think dec.4th.

Well I went through all the trouble of entering my order, dutifully entering my DVC discount code, and then got to the shopping cart and realized that I'd save MORE money if I discarded the DVC discount code and simply applied the "tiered" discount they're offering to the general public this weekend. My cart total came to $204, and with the DVC discount I'd get $41 off, while with the regular discount I'd get $50 off. (I also got free shipping either way.)

Still I cannot complain: $154 for a whole mess of clothes for our niece and nephew was a pretty good deal.

I did not give the code to anyone and no one emailed me. I know the moderator told me that the code could not be posted. Carol

DVC members get a 10% discount with Disney Shopping, and there's been some talk about a short time 20% discount. The member website still says 10% (which expired 10/31). Any news when the 20% discount will be in effect? I originally heard it was supposed to be for the month of December.

The 20% discount went into effect for purchases after December 1. I believe that discount will be available all month.
