DVC Discounted Room Rates?

When (or should we) expect any DVC member discounted room rates, or Annual Pass rates, for the period from November 19 thru December 3, 2005 to become available?

In my experience, you shouldn't expect them at all. We've been DVC members for about two years now and never been able to get discounts on APs or room rental rates at non-DVC resorts (or DVC resorts eiother for that matter). In fact, last time we were at The World, we didn't get any discounts anywhere we asked. We did get some discounts (10%-20% IIRC) at certain stores and restaraunts on previous visits. What additional discounts we did get on the last trip were for being AP holders or on other non-DVC-related promotions.

This of course does not mean that the discounts you're aksing about will not be forthcoming. It's just that, based on our experience, we've come to not *expect* them.

I have noticed that AP rates seem to come out anywhere from 4-1 month before when you can stay. Mousesavers usually has them listed. I don't usually go at that time of year, so I haven't noticed specifically, but I do know that they have historical information on when rate codes have come out on Mousesavers as well. You can't count on them, but sometimes you get lucky.

Diring our last stay (January and February '05) we stayed three nights with the DVC discounted rate...

My question was regarding the DVC properties and not other Disney properties.

You can not always get the DVC discount rate especailly during popular times.
