DVC discounted AP question

Is it possible to use your "give a day,get a day" voucher to upgrade to a discounted DVC Annual Pass? Has anyone done this? If so, do you recall what you had to pay for the AP? Thanks for any help!

The GAD tickets are upgradeable so there shouldn't be any difference using it for the DVC AP (I haven't done the GAD but have used other tickets to upgrade to a DVC AP).

The price will be the current DVC AP price - the current 1 day gate price of a ticket (around $80).
