DVC discount

I own resale at Boardwalk but am looking to add on direct points at the Grand Floridian. Right now the discount isn't great BUT it's still a discount and will still end on Oct. 12th. Question is, because I'm in no rush, do I hold off and hope the winter discounts are better? Or suck up and buy now? I know nobody really knows but would love some opinions!
