DVC discount on cash rooms and increased ticket prices

I am planning a DVC stay in December, likely during the tiered pricing time frame. Although I am not sure if the tiered pricing will affect multi day tickets. I cannot afford tickets right now. I am thinking of reserving a one night cash stay a the beginning of our trip at a value resort and get the 6 days tickets added to the package. This will allow me to avoid ticket price increases and give me 6 months to pay for the tickets that would be due this time next year with the Disney Visa card. Do we get a DVC discount on cash stays? I bought resale if that matters.

AFAIK, if you buy a package and make NO CHANGES to the package, you will keep the package price for the tickets and not be charged the higher price if the tickets increase in price. I am not familiar with package payment options. That said, I've assumed you are planning a trip in December 2016, because package prices are out for 2016. I don't think they are out for 2017 and may not be prior to the rumored ticket increase. You might ask the package part of your question on the Resorts forum and get better responses from those more experienced in packages than a long-time DVC member.

There are no DVC cash discounts for non-DVC resorts. When cash discount s are offered by MS, they are only for DVC resorts and not all booking categories are available for cash, either.
