In a nutshell, for $63. you can sample a "Tasting Menu" consisting of their most popular items: 1) appetizer, a duo consisting of crab cakes and caesar salad, 2) entree, a duo of the potato wrapped snapper and New York strip; and, 3) dessert of banana napoleon.

I don't see Flying Fish on the list of DVC discounted restaurants.

The recently announced 10% member discount is only for merchandise.

It's in the current "Portable Perks'.

We were updating at the same time. It wasn't listed on the member page but it was listed in portable perks.

I see no reason why the discount would not apply to the Prix Fixe Tasting Menu. The wine pairing would not be eligible for the discount. The Special Events they are referring to are things like the Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages.

I wasn't positive because the general disclaimer at the beginning of dining discounts state "regular price of food". Just sounds like a fun deal. The Signature Snapper and the New York strip are the two things I would like to try there most . . . and this makes it a no brainer.

I wonder if the TIW card would give you the 20% off it also includes alcohol!!!
