Looks like Disney made a good decision for a lot of DVC'ers!

I didn't vote because we will use AP and PH--but not in the same year!! When we know we will be going to WDW two or more times within a year, we will buy AP. When we will be going only once, we will probably purchase a PH.

But without the discount we would do as we have in the past when we went to WDW twice in a year. Bought PH and didn't go to the parks as many days.

I'll still purchase the Annual Pass. I really don't go to the other areas allowed with the PAP.

We will probably continue to purchase our Florida Resident Seasonal Pass - we just don't tend to visit WDW in the summer, anyway.

Either that, or I'll buy a SP for my DH, and will buy a discounted AP for myself - since I get more vacation than him - maybe I'll run over for a few nights with a friend in the summer.

APs for us. But PAPs will look a lot more appealing in the future with this kind of discount.

APs. We currently already have one and we were planning on taking a break for awhile since we've borrowed most of our points up, but even now if we only go two short trips an AP would be the best option!

I will also probably alternate between AP and PHP. I don't go to the water parks or Pleasure island enough to get a PAP so I will get PAP when Plusses are getting low or am only planning one trip in a year and AP when I am planning 2 or more trips in a year.

4 AP. I would like to see a poll of not only which would you buy, but how many? Each vote must average about 3 passes?

I voted AP, but that is what I currently have with no discount.

We will continue to purchase APs, as we have for the last 3 years, but will take 2005 "off". Our current APs expire on 1/2/2005 and we'll get one last day of use during a short (2-day) stay at WDW. We've already used these APs for a total of 16 days in the parks during three visits to WDW during 2004. This 2 night stay at the BWV will be followed by 4 nights at VB. After that, DW and I are not booked for any more trips during 2005. Our DD is getting married in late July and she and new husband will honeymoon at the BWV using our points (a wedding present).
We're skipping our usual March and June trips in the interest of saving some $$ for wedding expenses and the points for DD and DSIL-to-be. Our next trip will be at the beginning of January in 2006, at which time we'll purchase new APs. I expect we'll be back to our two or three trips/year pattern in 2006 and thereafter, so here's hoping the AP discount stays around.

DD and DSIL-to-be will have to decide if they want to purchase APs or PHs for the honeymoon trip. DD is a member on our contract with her own blue membership card, so it looks like she will be eligible to purchase 2 discounted APs for herself and new husband after the wedding.
