DVC Direct July 2025 Sales Data

Yikes, a single 1,600 pt deed at RIV, and someone else with a single 700 pt deed at RIV?! Just the other day we were discussing RIV's first ROFR on a 400 point deed. If they ever need to sell contracts that large, it is going to be a really tough sell for that many points locked into a single resort. And I say that as someone who owns RIV and loves staying there.

I just do not see any logic to 1600 points , at least get a week 52 GV fixed week plus some extra points ....

Some of these big ones on older resorts lately... are some people expecting an extension? Why else would you dump that much into Boardwalk? Even if you have effectively unlimited money, it just doesn't make sense to have done this.

I'm guessing they don't know all that much about DVC and just want to stay at Boardwalk after having a great vacation with their family in a 3 bedroom unit........... and have a boat load of money.

It could a business buying it as a perk for employees, depending on how it was structured there would be a tax write off there.
