Having access to whatever happens to those 2042 resorts was probably a top 2 reason we ended up going direct, mainly having access to any future resort was my wife's main reason.

This is why #1 option is to buy where one wants to stay. 2042 will be quite interesting how they flip all those resorts at once and status of resales to rebuy; the inventory will be massive unless they go full refurb/teardown....which all depends on the political environment for building permits too.

So in 2030s would be really interesting to see the resale market doing and direct offerings. Until then, love our AUL and VGC options!
