DVC Dining Reservations 6 mths+10 days in advance

I remember in the days pre-website dining reservations that not only could you reserve dining reservations 6 months in advance - you could book 6 months + 10 days from your arrival date (if you were staying at a WDW Resort). I am wondering if this is still possible if I am staying in a DVC Villa? Can I book the extra 10 days? I am staying in a DVC resort for 9 nights in March 2010 and I would like to book all of my dining reservations at the first possible opportunity. If so do I need to do this by paying the long distance charges and calling the dining line OR can I do this online (I don't see anywhere to enter my DVC reservation number??)

Yes, you can use your DVC reservation # to book online dining reservations. There have been some that said it didn't take but eventually it did.

When you are 180 days out from the start of your trip, you can book that day plus up to ten more days of that reservation.

I actually just did this yesterday and I am renting points.
Went to the regular WDW site and then to dining reservations.
When I put my request in for the date 180 days out it made me confirm my reservation number and then I was able to book everything for my 5 nights.

But it's not 6 months + 10 days = 190 days in advance of your arrival. Just to clarify.

It's 180 days before your arrival date and you can book 10 days from arrival date going forward, as the PPs said.
