DVC dining discount

Hello. My family is going to WDW this August staying at BWV on rented points. It has been a while since we've been, so I'm just wondering if we would still be able to access DVC discount on food and merchandise purchases? Also wondering if there are any other perks we could access? Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry, no, only the DVC owner themselves is eligible for discounts or other perks of owning DVC.

And to clarify further, only DIRECT purchasers at the requisite number of points when they bought (currently 150) are eligible for discounts, so not even all DVC Owners who have put down tens of thousands of dollars in purchasing a timeshare are eligible for the discounts….

A renter is not, unless that owner is otherwise eligible by owning the requisite number of points. And by the way, that owner who is eligible is eligible for the discount even if they are staying at the Hyatt Place instead of a DVC resort… it has to do with the member, not the room.
