DVC & DDP Discounts?

I have been looking around online about the DDP and I see on Mousesavers that if one is booking a disney travel package between end of Aug to end of Sept they are offering the disney dining plan free. I am "going home" next week for 3 nights/4days with my best friend. I reserved 2 DDP for our stay through MS. Is there any way I can get a discount or special on the DDP? I asked the CM at MS and he said he couldn't do anything through MS.

Anyone know? TIA

The easy answer is no - if you are staying on points you have to buy the DDP at its full price. You can book a room at another resort for a cash reservation and get "free dining" for next year while you are there this year. The free dining promotion reservation time frame for this year ended in June for trips this Aug and Sept.

Nope, pay cash via CRO and you might get a deal lol.

And remember that free dining is hardly free. They are paying RACK rate for their rooms and full price on tickets and everything else. Rest assured, Disney is not giving anything away.
