DVC D23 Charter Members

Ok...Anyone who was a charter member NOT get the special pin? I am a little annoyed at this.....It was posted over a week ago that day 1 charter members would get this special pin, and most were fedex...Nothing here yet, and I joined MINUTE 1, never mind day 1....Anyone have any other info on this? Was it random? I certainly hope not, considering we collect pins, and obviously some members, who put theirs on ebay for over $250 do not....Anyone have an email address to contact for D23 concerns/questions? I tried their feedback form, and nothing.....

I didn't join on the first day, so I can't address your question regarding the pin.

I can tell you that I had to call to get our lithograph, though. I kept waiting for it. I finally gave up on waiting and called the Disney shopping customer service line and gave them the original order # from when I purchased the D23. They took the info and put me in touch with the D23 staff.

Ok....Maybe it takes some time....people were saying they got theirs last week fedex....What irks me, I could not wait to join...Sat by the puter during countdown, and signed up within minutes...we collect pins, over 800....And nothing...BUT, others who joined got this pin, and they are on EBAY for over $200!!! I wrote Disney Shopping and D23 and no response....Considering 90% of their events are 2,000-3,000 miles away from me, a pin would be nice.....Ok, off the soapbox, and we will see next week what happens.......

I've been leaning towards joining - saw the lithograph & liked it alot
and thinking it would be nice for our family room which we're re-doing. Does anyone know if that would still be available if I joined now ?

Also, I had heard there are occasionally some events at WDW like a special Illuminations viewing area - was wondering how that works per D23 membership: would that just be for person who holds membership or would a member be allowed to bring a guest....? We're east coasters too & would rarely get to events in CA so I'm trying to find out more on what's offered at WDW.

Me either..I thought the litho was the special gift? I did order the Jiminy pin when it came back into stock, and haven't gotten that yet, but it had an 8 week delivery date..

I have also not received my "Charter Member" pin yet. We did receive the lithograph and have it framed and hanging up in the living room. I would hate to think that WDW is only sending out the Charter Member pins to a small random number of members.

Was a FIRST DAY Charter member pin...You had to sign up first day...Its jiminy, and he is holding a billboard type thing....

I signed up the first day also..I didn't know we were supposed to get a pin in addition to the litho.

We received a notice in our mailbox last week that FedEx could not find our house for the delivery so DH had to call & give directions. I did not order anything so I did not know what it could be. Today it was at my door. What a suprise! It's a nice pin. Hope everyone else receives theirs soon!

I contacted disney shopping...they said its coming, and are trying to get me a tracking number...

And the ebay think...EXACTLY....I collect, and have not gotten it, but the people who hawk the special stuff have....
