DVC Contract/Closing Question

Hey folks! I just got back about a week ago from going down to WDW and purchased my first CCVC contract while there. We actually went down just to do this because I'm a Delaware resident and we are apparently part of a lucky club where you are required to sign your contract in person when purchasing direct from Disney.

My question is this: I went in knowing that I'm going to add on via resale, so are the closing/contract rules different for purchasing resale? Has anyone that either lives in DE or another of the lucky 8 or so states bought resale and been able to complete the entire transaction from home, or have you physically had to go to FL to sign/notarize your paperwork at the resale company office?

That's a question for one of the resellers. I'm sure they know the answer. One of the big ones has a chat function on the website.

Resale, you should be able to buy no problem and stay in Delaware resellers have different rules than actual timeshare sellers do. Congratulations and welcome home.
