would not mind having a couple of articals with the dvc logo on them but wow are they expensive.just an idea but what about lowering the cost of the dvc line to the owners.make a profit but still keep it reasonable, and maybe drum up new owners.once people find out we are owners they always want ask questions and just want to talk to real people about ownership.i understand i would listen to a owner before a salesman any day(no offense).to me this would be little walking ,talking billboards that they are actually making money on.just A LITTLE money
just a thought.

The line of DVC merch is disappointing. I wouldn't even mind paying high prices if they'd create some cool/nice things.:earsboy:

The quality ain't as good as it used to be either.

It's a shame about the quality of Disney merch. I have some old t-shirts and sweatshirts from 10-15 years ago that still look good. More recent purchases just haven't held up. I have Disney coffee mugs from 20 years ago that are as good as new. Last mug WDW mug I bought a year ago had the handle fall off about the third time in the dishwasher.

Sorry to go OT...yes some nice DVC merch would be much appreciated.:earsboy:

1) It is a Catch-22.
2) They don't add more variety because it doesn't sell.
3) Maybe it doesn't sell because there is more variety.
4) Plus, people who come back every year don't buy DVC merchandise every year.
5) Regardless of chicken or egg, don't look for more branded merchandise.

where do you buy it? we are a brand new resale and haven't a clue where to buy it? omline?

We went to DL last June and I wanted to buy a Disneyland Golf shirt. I have several WDW shirts.(as well as a DVC golf shirt) There are plenty T-shirts but ony one or two Golf shirts... only at Downtown Disney. Needless tosay... I didn't care for either.

I'm sorry to hear about the limited selection. I was hoping they would offer some great options like the Green Bay Packers offer shareholders.

Last time I wore my DVC shirt, my brother was shocked that I had to pay for it and it wasn't comp!!!

Maybe I'll do better on the DVC member cruise!

VERY limited selection and VERY expensive stuff. DH has a golf shirt from SSR and I have a generic DVC fleece & that's about it for us as far as DVC merchandise. We have some ball caps we got on our DCL's for hitting the member welcome thingy... I have to admit that I would probably never pay that much for either of our items "in real life". Both things were priced at about twice what they're really worth. We will not be buying very much DVC clothing at those prices for sure.

I couldn't agree more with all of you! We travel a lot and even when not going to Disney my wife uses her Dvc bag and always get questions about DVC. I think they need to explore that option! what a great advertisement.
