DVC Closing Requirements for Canadian

We just received closing documents on a DVC resale and it asks for Social Security Number. As a Canadian, did you provide any information in the field?

We did not provide it. I believe they said we had to but we did not and it still got processed. (We have purchased both direct & resale)

I believe they still sometimes ask for it when they confirm identification when we phone in. I just say you do not have it and they accept the standard other information.

We refuse most requests, only providing it when it is required such as employment and investments.
