just a few little rules and info on passing the 2nd year DVC Christmas Trees.

First of all, i would like to Thank All the DVC Members that have donated the DVC Christmas Trees for each one of the DVC resorts, some DVC resorts have 2 Christmas Trees.
Last year i believe there was two trees and the trees were passed from member to member instead of the trees staying at one resort. It was a very magical trip home for those Dvc Members and I wannted to bring that magic back again for the DVC Members ......


If you are the first DVC Member on the list and you are also the member donating the tree to your resort, we dont have to worry about shipping the tree to the first Member or to the resort.

If you are the first DVC Member but not donating the tree, by now the DVC Member should have contacted you about shipping the tree to you or to let you know the tree will be shipped to the resort.

For the DVC Members that are donating the trees, please attach a card to the outside of the tree box with each DVC Member last name and dates to receive the tree.
and if your tree has to be shipped back to you, please address a card to be attched with your name & address for the last DVC Member to ship the tree back to you.
also i ask for an envelope be placed inside the tree box for a $1 or $2 to be donated by each family to cover the shipping cost .
(so the last family will not have to bear the cost of the shipping).


Please pick the Christmas Trees up from the bellhop after 11am on the day you are to receive the tree and to return the tree by 11am on the day you are to drop the tree off at the bellhop desk. also please cross your name off the card so the card shows the next DVC family's name and dates.

Your DVC Member that is donating your tree to your resort may have contacted you about adding a small ornament with your familys last name for the tree or any other special directions or suggestions. Please check your pms or emails.

If they have not you may contact them from the Tree list to make suggestions.

WDWSTAR You have been doing a great job. But I was wondering what happened we have been on the BCV tree list since the beginning from Dec 24 to Jan 2. Are we not able to be on the list anymore?

PeteLacall - We can certainly put you on the list. Both wdwstar and I had tried to PM'd you and couldn't so we hadn't got confirmation. Were you going to get it on the 24th?? If so I will add you to the list I will put in the tree. Then you will be the one to send it back. I will include a shipping label with my address or you can have it shipped at the BWV business center if you don't want to take it back home with you.

Now for the question...

I noticed that there is a 6 day gap between my checkout from SSR and dallastxcpa's check-in. Is it Ok to just leave the tree in its box with the bellhop? Should there be a note saying that it will be picked up on the 19th?

The tree will be fine at the bellhop for 6 days. there should be a card attached to the tree box with the members last names and their dates.
when you drop the tree off at the bellhop just cross your last name and dates off, so the next family's last name and dates are showing.

I notice on the 2nd OKW tree there is a gap of a few days. I will be at OKW on the 6-10 December and can fill the gap. How do I, if indeed there is anyway to do this, get added to the tree list?

BTW, I just checked and the OKW tree will not be brought to the resort until the 17th of December. HOw then will this work???
