I'll also be there in June. I haven't done summer in a while, and I think the last one was way back in the DisneyQuest days; we had water park + Disney Quest APs, and spend the entire week either in water or indoors.

Not sure how much of the parks we will actually see this trip, but (a) we have active passes, (b) I had some Wyndham points to burn, and (c) Tuesday-to-Tuesday flights on Delta at good times of day weren't too expensive. So why not?

I'm mostly going to get dinner at Toledo. I've wanted to visit for a while now, and 40% off is...a lot.

We did WDW in July last year and August the year before. We're doing June this year - maybe it will be a touch better, but I'm not planning on it.

I learned a lot one year to the next. My biggest recommendation if you're doing a park day is this: have a reservation for lunch on park days. Hit the parks in the mornings - the earlier the better. By lunchtime, the heat will be getting unbearable and everyone will be hungry and tired. Having a place to go in the a/c to eat and take a break really refreshed everyone. We would head back to the hotel after that and then maybe go back to the park in the evenings after the sun sets.

If you don't want to do table service and prefer QS to save money, plan to eat lunch at 11 am sharp, when most of the lunch QS restaurants open. If you wait until noon, there likely won't be any tables inside in the a/c, and you'll all be hungry, hot, and stuck with eating chicken strips and French fries in the blazing hot sun . . . that's a recipe for meltdowns.

This is kind of what we were thinking with doing table service for lunch. Thanks for the tips.

When we went last year in June, we did a ton of character meals for lunch. That was fun, and a nice way to see other resorts and spend some time in the A/C. In the afternoon we tended to explore different resorts (often where we ate lunch) and do arts and crafts there.

I advise not being too deep into a park if the weather changes because leaving gets hectic in lightning with downpours.

“Abused” it by giving Disney over a thousand dollars for a pass

A (possible) crack down on Sorcerers Passes suggests to me that either the parks division is not worried about attendance for the next year or perhaps DVC thinks any decline in attendance will be worth an increase in direct purchase for adult children who used to be able to get passes through the grandparent generation…or perhaps they just think that many families will be upgrading to an Incredipass.

This question is for all of you DVC vets. Going in June. Seems like from what I’m reading that between 2-3 and 5-6 is the peak time for heat. Is this accurate? Trying to make plans.

I was going to mention that in addition to heat/sun these are also the prime hours for the random downpours! I would recommend getting an app like MyRadar to keep on eye on where the rain is.

That link is for MMB and buying with points. Are those rules different than paying cash?

That particular question in the FAQ addresses how many Sorcerer APs can be purchased specifically with points. It doesn't appear to set a limit for those purchased with money. Quickly glancing at all Sorcerer AP FAQs https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/faq/membership-magic-beyond/wdw-disney-sorcerer-pass I don't see anything limiting the number of APs you can buy with money.

If you go to purchase annual passes right on the Disney World website, the details section says it's up to a total of eight per year.

I wonder if this is targeted to people that have multiple households in one DVC membership? Example, two parents and their two adult children all listed as owners-- representing 3 households. If there is a max of 8 Sorcerer Passes per membership, that could put a crimp in things if the adult children have kids.
