We’re currently booked in a 2br at BWV for January 2027 for our group of 6. My kids are begging me to stay in a cabin in FW instead. We’ve never stayed there but we’ve visited several times and they love it. It would be a lot less points, but we’d be more squished then in the 2 br. I would prefer BWV, but my kids don’t usually make any special requests on our trips so I’d feel bad not giving in and making them happy. My DH doesn’t care either way lol. Of course this is assuming I’ll be able to get two weeks in a cabin at 7 months. Maybe I won’t and the whole thing will be moot. Or maybe I’ll just tell them I can’t? Lol.

Do I agree with you? Yes.

Would I do it if the kids were “begging” me and suffer through? Yes.

I was trying to get AI to make a graphic to remind me when I can book. The colors/design isn't perfect but it's the best I could get. I printed it out to put on my bulletin board. This isn't worth a separate thread, so sharing here in case anyone would find it helpful.

Hmmmm. Normally I wouldn't advocate for a spilt stay, but in this instance I would. 2 weeks is a very long time in a FW Cabin with 6. Have you ever been in one? I do think the cabin and FT wilderness are a unique experience and I would 100% want to do that if the kids were asking to. But maybe for 3 or 4 nights not 2 whole weeks.

I do think the cabin and FT wilderness are a unique experience and I would 100% want to do that if the kids were asking to. But maybe for 3 or 4 nights not 2 whole weeks.

Also I would suggest cabins first. Then you can do that laundry at BWV when you get there and the 2 bed will feel like a mansion when you walk-in. Im excited for you! The cabins are so cool and BWV is also my fave place. Sounds like a great trip.

Thankfully the studios are perfect for me. I travel almost exclusively with my lifelong BFF since our hubbies are clearly allergic to the Disney Kool-Aid. My daughter and her hubby are coming down for part of my September trip so it will be 4 of us for a few days but I deal with that. I am still learning how to relax on a Disney vacation!

If the dates appear…Take It!! Kids Request. (Only a Request, Not a Guarantee). It will be tight for sure but ‘glamping’ at its finest. January will be a great time for it.
