DVC Chicago Closing?

Had dinner last night with a couple of friends and, as always, the topic of Disney came up (they are also huge Disney fans). Our friend told us that he had heard that they put on hold any DVC hirings (anywhere including WDW) and that he heard that they were closing the DVC sales center in Chicago. Thought it was odd that they would have a freeze on hirings at WDW with the new DVC resorts at the GF and Wilderness campgrounds.

Anyone hear anything????

As far as hirings, it is likely that the freeze is only on sales force personnel, given the current economy, they probably have more than enough sales people to meet their needs.

Maybe, maybe not. They could just be waiting to close it whenever the lease expires.
