DVC Cash Room Discount?

Quick question for all you DVC vets in case it will save me a call to MS...we're on the wait list for a room for a couple of nights. If there are no rooms to be had for points as of now, might there be a cash discount available or does "no room at the inn" mean there are no rooms period no matter if cash or points?

If you are on the waitlist for a particular night, there should not be any rooms available for member cash. However, there maybe rooms through CRO, not all rooms are points inventory.

The cash inventory and the points inventory are two separate things. As a matter of fact, I just returned from a last minute trip to Hilton Head. I booked through Member Services. There were no rooms available on Points, but there were rooms available (with Discount to boot) for cash. We had a great time.
