DVC cash reservation cancellation question

We are planning to go to beach club on cash Dec 27-Dec 31 but this Blizzard that is coming to New England may mess up our plans- I have a flight out on Dec 27th but also booked tickets the morning of Dec 29th (the 28th was sold out on Southwest as everyone I guess was paying attention to this today and rebooked to the 28th) just in case. If our flight on the 27th gets cancelled and we dont get there until the 29th will I have to pay for the room the 27th and 28th?? We booked this on cash a long time ago and bought the meal plan but did not have to pay anything for the room as we booked the room before they had this issue. What do people think?? So upset- Snow snow go away!!

I would imagine that Member Services would work it out with you. Once, when we were at the airport and our flight was going to be delayed for some-time the airline offered to let us stay a day longer for no extra charge since we would be getting in soo very late and missing almost a full day at WDW. That was GREAT, but I needed a room for the extra night now. Member Services was not open yet since our flight was orginally scheduled for very early morning. I called Member Services and even though they were closed there was a way to connect to someone if it was an "Emergency" situation. They were able to access my membership and get me the extra night so I could have the airline extend my flight. So if I were you I would call Member Services now and see if you can get someone.....Good Luck!! Maybe, the weather men are wrong on the forecast.....????Seems, like they are wrong all of the time!!
 
I just got off the phone with member services who were great!!. We will be arriving two days late due to our flight cancellation and though member services put me on hold for 20 minutes to check with the Beach Club - I will not get charged for those two nights as it was out of my control and they also unexpectedly gave me a refund for the 2 days I already paid for the food plan so I only pay for it the days we are there. So while we are missing 2 days at our beloved World - disney made it magical today that I will not be sitting in our house looking at snow while paying for a room at the beach club That would have sent me to the moon!!haha- and of course the savings on the room for two nights gives us more reason to do a little shopping!haha:goodvibes

3 days till our 5 day trip to Disney!:cool1:
