I don't know much about DVC but I do know that my girlfriend is a member and she would absolutely love a career in DVC. We live in NYC...I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any offices or what not up here. Any answer is greatly appreciated!

IMO it's better to stay a member and not a CM. Seeing Disney behind the curtain isn't very magical, they don't pay well and they are like most big businesses.
I worked at DL as a contractor many years ago and the view backstage is much different than on stage.
My company worked for Disney, and they are relentless in their pursuit of perfection at a good price. Am not sure where the pixie dust comes in because between the sweat of your brow, discretionary performance, and working your butt off it's hard to see the magic. But when it's all done...wow, what a privilege to have worked on it. I think they are a great company.
