We are heading to Disneyland next week and I can't find my DVC member card. Is there some place at the resort that I can get a replacement one? Thanks!

Yes, there is a DVC office behind The Disneyland hotel. I was able to get cards there over the summer.

Yup, as JessLCH said.

There are 3 towers at the Disneyland Hotel, if you are in the pool area, enter the Frontier tower which is the south tower, go through it into the parking lot, the DVC office will be just to the right of you. There is a nice model display of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the Frontier tower.

If you drive, you can park there as well while you wait for your card. Just tell the guard that you are going to the DVC office and you'll be let through to park.

Speaking of replacement DVC cards.....I also need a new one since the plastic coating on my original is almost completely peeled off and really looks a mess.
We're going to be at WDW in a few weeks at the VGF (yeah!!). Can I just stop at the SSR Preview Center and get a replacement card?

I once had to get a replacement DVC card at Disneyland so I asked at one of the DVC kiosks inside the park. They said I had to go to DVC office at Disneyland but I didn't want to waste my time walking to the hotel. Before I can say thanks they offered free transportation from Disneyland to the office and back. I took them up on their offer which only took me a total of about half hour.

Thank you for the info and the detailed description on where to go! On our first day we thought we would check out Trader Sam's so we can get my new card then.

Trader Sam's is awesome! Not what we expected....very small....maybe 8 tables plus the bar....but, still a nice place to unwind and relax. Others have said some of the artifacts from the Adventurers Club are at Trader Sam's, but, I didn't see any.

Any recommendations on what to order? Everything sounds good (and love all the special effects!) One of my regrets is never making it to the Adventurer's Club... not going to make the same mistake with Trader Sam's. Even if everyone else bails on me, I will be there! Gotta get my DVC card ;)

Actually, I don't believe we had anything to eat. We stopped for a few drinks after we already had dinner. I had read that some items from the Adventurers Club were sent there when the AC closed, but, as I said in my earlier post I didn't see anything that looked familiar. Trader Sam's is a quirky little place...nice to have a few drinks and relax, but, definitely not over the top like the AC was......miss the AC......it was always a fun evening hanging out in the "library"!! DH always seemed to get picked to go up on stage and learn to do something....either dance or sing.....
