DVC Call

Just got DVC call inviting me to a mtg at BWV
on Tues 4/16...anyone else get this call and invite??

Interesting. It would seem odd to call you at home and invite you to a Member Update.

Careful - 4/16 is a Wednesday. Are you sure it was MS that called?

My mistake...She did say Wed April 16 at 1:30.said there should be an invite at OKW after we arrive this weekend..meeting should last 90 minutes. then she said i would receive a 75.00 gift Cert which i could use on property for anything but theme park tickets...sounded a little funny to me....

It sounds like one of those "opinion meetings" we hear of from time to time.

Like when, was it dvcreg or CarolMN? - when they were asked to test "Pal Mickey" before it was released.

Please fill us in when you get back - though you may be asked to sign some agreement saying you won't discuss the content of the meeting...

Me too. My meeting is at BWV at 4:30 on the 16th. I've never been to any kind of DVC meeting since we just joined last year. It should be interesting! I hope they have good eats

The 1:30 time would actually work out better for me.......actually for my sister and nephew - who will have to take a taxi if DH is too busy to pick her up

So, I'm assuming you already had reservations to stay there and they are inviting you to this meeting, knowing you will be vacationing at the time?

That's correct. We've been booked at BCV for seven months. They asked me a few general questions and then confirmed that I would be there and then asked if I could attend the session.

p.s. They also said it would take 90 minutes, they only wanted me there (not DH) and that childcare would NOT be provided. If DH answered the phone and had taken the brief survey, he would've been invited instead of me.

It wasn't me. I'd love to be invited to one of "those"meetings, though.

metpro - would love to hear what this was all about if you are allowed to tell.
