DVC by Resale closing cost

I noticed that DVC resale has a closing cost of $650, which is higher than the rest of the brokers I looked at. What gives?

I've used 3 different companies, and that's about what the closing costs were with all 3. I know it can depend on the purchase price though. All 3 of mine have been similar prices.

You can use any closing agent you want. Look around, you can save $200+.

I know this thread is a little old, but how do you find other closing companies to handle a DVC closing? and how does that work with the broker - do they just send all of the info to the closing company you prefer?

You pick one, tell your broker BEFORE you sign the contract, and the documents will all be handled by the title company from there.
