Dvc Book

I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a DVC BOOK ? My sister in law recieved a book in the mail sometime last year the book is called DREAM , it is DISNEY VACATION CLUB BOOK, it has pictures of the resorts and the points needed for each resort. if anyone knows how i can get one of these sent to me please let me know.

The book is sent out to serious dvc purchase inquiries- if you are going through the purchase process with Disney they will send you one. If you are just planning on renting points use the points charts at the top of this page or go to dvcfriends.com for points charts and pictures.

I got one from DVC- I just filled out the requested info on the Disney World website in the DVC section. Someone called me to talk about it and I told them that I was looking at resale because I wanted less than 150 points. They asked if I wanted them to send the info, I said yes. It arrived a day or two later.

When I first inquired they sent me one by airmail to the UK. If I rember rightly it cost about $25 for the postage !!!!

Best thing about the book- it has the points charts for everything except AKV. It has DCL, DL, II, non-DVC resorts and some other exchanges I did not even know existed. The book is a great resource for the new people.

I asked the guide i was told to contact to send me a book and he said he will send it by fe ex on friday, never mentioned that it coost anything. Just wondering.

Is this book the annual planning guide? Does it have years listed on the front?
Seriously, does anyone else know what book this is? I'm not aware of what new prospective buyers get.
Are the information mailings getting really detailed? Ten pounds worth? I'd love to see.
We got pamphlets back in 1998, one for each of the four resorts.
I think before that it may have been mimeographs.

We received the DREAM book last month when I called and got assigned a guide. It really is a beautiful book that has pictures and info on all the DVC resorts. It included some places where I was surprised we could stay - other hotels in the US and Europe. It was not very specific though to the plan. That's why I check out this board

Wow, it sounds beautiful. It sounds like they are doing a great job with the sales promotions. I would love to see one... maybe if I stop by one of the show units they will have one to look at.

It really is beautiful! We received ours last Feb. when we took the tour. (In fact, it is exactly a year ago I was on here picking everyone's brains about buying in and "should I or shouldn't I?"!!!) It almost a coffee table as far as I am concerned (although I am a bit goofy about WDW!)

We recieved one from our guide, of course she knows that my DH always pulls it out when anyone asks us about our plans for vacation in any given year. She probably figured it was a good investment, he's quite an enthusiastic salesman.
