This. Half the reason I bought DVC was because I was sick of staying in tiny hotel rooms. I have actually never stayed in a DVC studio, and don't really have any plans to do so.So you upgrade yourself to a one bedroom and spend more (my theory)![]()
I think a studio with a king bed option would be very popular and yet they haven't done it yet and probably never will or at least not without a premium. The duo studio makes more sense to me for them to sell a tiny little space and make some money off that, but a king bed in a studio is sure to lose some people that would normally stay in one bedrooms.This. I was surprised the first time we stayed in a studio and saw that the only full bed option was one queen bed for most studios. Is it like this on the cash side too? Im going to guess no because people want a king bed option, but not sure.
Also remember that most timeshares have rooms that sleep up to 4, not rooms that sleep only 2. This makes DVC more compatible for trading options with whichever trade partner they contract,
But would there be room for a King, a Queen (fold out or Murphy), AND a pack n play crib for an infant?I don’t follow, I have yet to be in a DVC studio room that couldnt simply have swapped the one queen bed for a king, there is generally plenty of room, this wouldn’t change anything about the number of people it sleeps.
Really? These studio refurbs with the queen murphy bed are pretty tight. Even the larger ones like PVB and VGFI don’t follow, I have yet to be in a DVC studio room that couldnt simply have swapped the one queen bed for a king, there is generally plenty of room, this wouldn’t change anything about the number of people it sleeps.

I don't think so, the space between the two queen beds is pretty tight. OKW has fairly large studios, but the layout would be quite tight as is if you needed the Pack N Play, given the table and chairs and the doorway to the kitchenette and bathroom.Having not stayed at a studio at OKW... would it possibly be there?
I am struggling to envision the Vero Beach studio I have stayed in being able to accommodate....
