Dvc beach bash June 23 sold out will people cancel making room for others?

would love to attend but it is sold out. Anyone have luck previous with getting in last minute?

Since there's no cost, odds seem slim. Even if plans change and registered guests decide not to attend, there's no motivation (financial or otherwise) to cancel.

I don't know about that. As long as they tie it to the resort reservation, anyone who cancels that part will free up the beach bash booking automatically. And maybe some will be courteous last minute. Call a few more times and maybe you'll get lucky!

I didn't think that beach bash reservations were linked to room reservations in any meaningful way. For the first few weeks, a reservation at WDW, Vero or Disney Cruise Line was required to sign up for the bash. But after that, it opened to all members with no stay requirement.

Agree it's worth calling periodically, but I just don't think the odds are particularly high.

After just a couple days, they removed the off-site option and required all reservations to be linked to an on-site room reservation.

I've gotten so many different answers from Dvc reps. From keep calling everyday to just go and see if they'll let you in to this is connected to dining so at the Dvc resort ask at concierge. what a mess. Lol

Yes, we booked through dining. So perhaps usual DVC CMs do not know all details.

Congrats! I had a feeling you'd get in if you kept at it. Someone always has to cancel for one reason or another.

We are thinking seriously about canceling our 4 person reservation for July 13th I think it was. So hopefully if we do they will give it to someone else if we do!
