I have been stalking the DVC website every morning and around 6pm for the last couple of months for two studios the last week of September. The 28th was booked and I needed the whole week so I booked a 2 bedroom instead.
This morning, I looked at my usual time and then again 20 minutes later.... studio was available for the entire 5 days. Modified my reservation from the 2br and then looked again to see if there was another standard studio available-yes there was and so I was able to book the two studios.
I just though it was weird that the studio inventory for SSR was available since I had just looked minutes earlier. I knew the reasoning behind the 28th being unavailable was probably due to the MM event on 9/28.
I got both confirmation emails.
