Dvc aulani hawaii questions! Help!

So I keep seeing information about Aulani but they really aren't full amounts of information. I have several questions and wondered if anyone knew the answers:

Phase I is set to open 8/29/11 and Phase II opens late 2011. Any word on a date for Phase II? And what are the differences between the two? Will it just mean that more rooms will open in Phase II? Or will Phase II include more amenities opening as well?

So they've opened this up to buy shares for DVC and I hear $114/pt. But how many points gets you a room? What kind of room? Time of year? Number of days?

Any idea when they will release rates for this resort? Or allow booking for non-DVC members?

If you have any information, I'd really like to know!

Phase I (209 hotel rooms, 119 villas): August 29, 2011
Phase II (138 hotel rooms, 178 villas): December 29, 2011
Phase III (404 villas): February 28, 2013


There is no word on what ammenities would or would not be open at Phase 1 launch, although the word around here is that outside construction should be complete and they should be working on the insides of the other two buildings to get the other phases open.

The point charts are definitely up on dvcmember.com

Some people think they're too high. Others thing they are ok. Obviously as you can tell by my sig, I didn't think they were too bad.

Dvcnews.com also has the rack rate prices for Aulani's villas. In addition, if you are unfamiliar with how DVC works, dvcnews.com has a really good intro to the DVC program. It can be accessed from one of the pull down menus on the main page.

I'm assuming that Aulani will have all of its public areas -- pools, restaurants, etc --up and running on August 29, 2011. But I haven't seen anything in writing confirming that fact.

The disclosure statement in my closing docs gives the following available dates of public areas:

September 2011 (I would assume this applies to the 8/29 opening): beachside restaurant, lazy river and adjacent pool/facilities, caldera (volcano waterslide), feature pool/sunbathing deck, interactive kids' play area, 3 hot tubs, fire pit, wedding lawn, 1 parking structure, snorkel lagoon, habitat touch tank, 5-12 pool cabanas

January 2012: quiet pool, spa lawn, 2nd parking structure

Details on the beachside restaurant were found in the construction phased development section. I didn't see any specific details on the other restaurants, which could be because they're housed in the larger building structures (vs. the stand alone structure of the beachside restaurant). I too would assume that the 3 restaurants would be up and running.
