DVC at Polynesian?

Is there going to be a DVC at the Polynesian? and when? That is our favorite resort but we have not been able to stay there because it's not a DVC so it takes way too many points. Thanks.

There have been no announcements about DVC at the Polynesian. For years there have been rumors that it will happen but it is currently not a reality. It could aleays happen in the future. We'll just have to wait and see.

Tikiman has been reporting that it's a definite yes and that he has insider info. What actually happens remains to be seen, though. I think I won't be able to afford the points there.

There's a rumor that they will be rebuilding the entire Polynesian Resort because the buildings are sinking. If they rebuild, they probably will add a DVC but that's years in the future.

Yes there will probably be a Polyn - but really think the points cost will be higher than the GF.

the resort is surpose to start the deconstruction in 2013. So we don't have long to wait.

So true and even then it can change look at the Tree house Villas and SSR.

And what did happen with the rumored Ft. Wilderness/River Country DVC or whatever that was supposed to be - people posted architectural plans for that here before.

Eagle Pines and Newport Coast come to my mind. Along with CO and NYC.
