DVC at Disney Springs

Was at Disney Springs yesterday and saw a large Disney Vacation Club gold Plaque on the side of the building that Houses Francescas and Alex and Ani. There is also an elevator close by the sign..... Just wondering what that is or will be? Was thinking maybe a place you can go to complete paperwork after purchase... Just nosey and curious.

If anything, it will be a kiosk where you can get some basic program information and schedule a tour (just like the in-park DVC kiosks). With the Sales Center located just a short distance away at SSR, it's unlikely to be a true sales office.

Hard to say, DVD had sales offices at several of the resorts including sold out resorts. They were staffed with guides and they would sell to you there. DVC didn't really advertise that they were there and I don't know if they are still open. BWV had the model rooms on the boardwalk and they built a sales office next to the activity center.

Could be replacing the one over in Marketplace ?

Certainly possible that they are opening a more elaborate sales office ("Preview Center") in Disney Springs. They added a site to Downtown Disney in Disneyland about 18 months ago. It's less than a 5 minute walk from the larger DL sales center, but positioned much better to draw foot traffic.

That is a new "remote" sales office for DVC. Main sales are still at SSR of course. I've heard the new sales office is quite small and will have a very small number of CM's like most other remote sales offices. They will be there strictly for tours for prospective owners or members that are adding on points.
