Redeemed my DVC discount AP yesterday. Upgraded/switched to Gold Pass this morning. Cost of "upgrade" $23. Ride photos from yesterday suddenly appeared in MDE App. Used photopass all day and will during 4 more trips in the next 12 months.

I don't think so.....but it's worth a try to ask Guest services when you get there. This could really benefit you if your whole family got the AP, but just you upgrade to the Gold AP. You'd be getting the pictures for $20 vs the extra for everyone, but someone more knowledgeable could have a better answer than me.

Edit....looks like someone posted just before me. Good deal for you. Not for me. Gonna cost me $80 more than I planned when I get there. Bonus we get the pictures.....but normally would not have paid for the memory maker so I still see it as costing me more.

Someone reported in a lengthy thread on the theme parks board having access to PhotoPass pics from last April when she upgraded her existing AP today. IMHO, those holding current APs are the only winners today.

I have a DVC PAP purchased with the 2014 special and activated in January 2015. Planning to use it for 1 last trip next month (no blackout dates). I'd been planning to purchase memory maker so I'm interested in one of the options that provide the photopass downloads.

I'm trying to figure out my options based on what price I'll be credited for my DVC PAP. Can I convert to gold or only platinum? I'm not sure if they'll let me switch to gold if my PAP is credited at a higher price than the cost of the gold.
