DVC AP question

I have been searching but can't find an answer anywhere yet ...if someone is listed as an associate on your DVC membership, but they do NOT live at teh same address as you, can they purchase an AP at the DVC discount?

This perk - AP discount - is only available to the DVC Member and the immediate family members residing in the same address. Sorry..

Ok, thanks for the info!! Just trying to save the grandparents some money since they will be travelling with us a couple of times next year. But I am sure they will gladly pay the extra dough to spend time with the grandkids at Disney

....guests and associates receive same priviledges as member while at DVC (ie pool hopping), but none of the Member Perks that involve discounts. But - my son has used days at DVC and received discounts - evidently not all cast members ask for the blue card - though that certainly seems to be the rule.

Purchasing an AP is different as the CM needs to key in the membership number. For that they need to see the blue membership card.

They only qualify if they are staying with the member.
