DVC AP question

I currently have an AP that is good through Nov. 12. I am going to be in the world from Nov. 10-14th. Can I renew while I am there on say the 13th? If I renew online will I actually lose using my old pass on the 11th and 12th? We are arriving too late on the 10th to use it that day. We probably won't be going to a park on the 14th so can't decide if I should renew or wait until I go back in December. If I wait can I still renew or would I have to buy a new one? Since you will be there anyway, I would just wait and renew while you are at WDW. No, you will not "lose" the few days left on you current AP, you will continue to us it until it expires, and then begin using you new AP if yo renew before your current AP expires. You do have a one-month grace period to renew in person, even after your current AP expires, it will simply be back-dated so the renewd pass will expire 12 months after the original.
